Class Policy Update

I hope you're doing well.

 

Over the past few weeks, you may have noticed that we've started cancelling a small number of classes in advance when attendance has been especially low. We wanted to take a moment to properly explain why we're doing this, what it means for you, and how you can make sure you never miss an important studio update.

Capacity Policy

 

Moving forward, any group class with two participants or fewer will be cancelled 8 hours before its scheduled start time. If this happens, we'll always notify you in advance by email and push notification, giving you plenty of time to adjust your plans or book another class.

Why are we making this change?

As our community continues to grow, we're always looking for ways to make our schedule work well for both our members and our teaching team. Rather than removing quieter classes altogether, this policy allows us to keep offering a varied schedule while only cancelling the occasional class with very low attendance. It's a small change that helps us continue providing the schedule you know and enjoy, while making sure it works well for everyone.

Please check your notifications before

travelling to the studio

This is probably the most important part of this update.

 

If a class doesn't reach the minimum capacity, we'll always let you know at least 8 hours beforehand via email and push notification.

 

Before heading to the studio, especially for early morning, evening, or quieter classes, we kindly ask that you take a quick look at your notifications to make sure there hasn't been any updates to your booking.

If you've switched off studio emails or notifications, it's possible you won't receive these important messages.

Not receiving our notifications?

If you're using our app, it's worth checking that notifications are enabled for your account. You can also make sure emails from us aren't landing in your spam or promotions folder by adding us to your safe senders list.

 

If you're unsure whether your notification settings are correct, please let one of us know at the studio. We'd be more than happy to help you check them.

FAQ

 

Will this affect every class?

No. The majority of our classes will continue exactly as scheduled. This policy only applies to the occasional class with very low attendance.

 

How will I know if my class has been cancelled?

If your class is affected, you'll receive an email and push notification at least 8 hours before the class begins. We recommend checking this before travelling to the studio, especially if you're booked into an early morning, evening, or quieter class.

 

I don't receive your newsletters. Will I still receive these notifications?

Yes. Class cancellations are NOT marketing emails or messages. This means you'll still receive important updates about your bookings even if you've chosen not to subscribe to our newsletters or push notifications. If you believe you're not receiving these notifications, please let us know so we can help you check your account settings.
